You Wellness Club ("YWC", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

  • Contact details such as your name, email address and phone number when you make an enquiry, join a waitlist, book a class or buy a membership.
  • Booking and membership information such as the classes you book, your membership or class pack and your attendance.
  • Payment information, which is processed securely by our booking platform and its payment providers. We do not store your full card details.
  • Health and pregnancy information you choose to share with us so our instructors can keep you safe in class.
  • Website usage information such as pages visited, device and browser type, and how you arrived at our site (for example an ad or search result).

How we use it

  • To manage your bookings, memberships and payments.
  • To respond to your enquiries and messages.
  • To send you updates about classes, offers and events. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To keep you safe in class and tailor options to your needs.
  • To understand how people use our website and to measure and improve our advertising.

Who we share it with

We only share personal information with trusted providers who help us run the studio, including:

  • Momence (class bookings, memberships, payments, enquiry forms and chat)
  • Squarespace (website hosting)
  • Google (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Ads)
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram advertising)

Some of these providers store information outside Australia. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and advertising

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to understand site usage and to show and measure our ads on Google, Facebook and Instagram. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and manage ad preferences in your Google and Meta account settings.

Keeping your information secure

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and we keep it only for as long as we need it.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or raise a privacy concern, by emailing hello@youwellnessclub.com.au. We will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
